He is a Professor of Pediatrics at West Virginia University (Go Mountaineers!), where he teaches college students in medical school about children's hearts. He was born and raised in West Virginia, where he also completed his medical training at West Virginia University. He lives in Morgantown, West Virginia.

She did her doctoral work, which included creating Healthy Hearts, at Virginia Tech. Dr. Elliott wants to answer your questions about physical activity!

She is especially interested in teaching children about the benefits of eating healthy foods. Ms. Gonzales was born and raised in Morgantown, West Virginia. She received her training in nutritional sciences at the University of Illinois and the University of California, San Francisco, and earned her degree in public health at the University of Colorado. She now lives in the San Francisco Bay Area (but she is still a Mountaineer at heart).

The Bye Bye Tobacco expert is Dr. Mark Elliott.   Dr. Elliott is an Emergency Medicine physician at Bluefield Regional Medical Center in Bluefield, West Virginia. He sees many patients with heart disease and other complications due to the use of tobacco products. He will be glad to answer the questions you have about tobacco use and your heart. Dr. Elliott was born in Abingdon, Virginia, and completed his medical training at the Medical College of Virginia, Richmond, Virginia, and the Bowman Gray School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He now lives in Princeton, West Virginia.
